Back, neck and pelvic pain, headaches, sports injuries, postpartum recovery, and women's health.

Conditions we treat

No two patients are the same. The techniques used in a session will depend on your condition, your age, and what your body responds to.
Musculoskeletal pain
Back and neck pain, sciatica, joint problems, sports injuries, headaches, and arthritis. Including both acute injuries and longer-standing conditions.
Women's health
Pregnancy-related discomfort, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, and menopausal symptoms. Both practitioners have experience supporting women at different life stages.
Cranial & paediatric care
Maria specialises in cranial osteopathy and sees patients of all ages, including newborns and children. Cranial work is also effective for headaches, stress, and sleep problems in adults.
Long-term conditions
Disc problems, fibromyalgia, and inflammatory conditions, where osteopathy can help manage symptoms and improve day-to-day function.

What to expect

Your first appointment includes a full health history, physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment. We'll also discuss your treatment plan and give advice on exercises or lifestyle changes that may help.
Techniques vary depending on your condition and what suits you — from hands-on structural work and joint mobilisation to gentle cranial techniques and exercise prescription.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing such as shorts and a t-shirt. You won't need to fully undress, but your osteopath may ask you to remove outer layers to assess your movement properly.

Osteopathic treatment is generally gentle and should not be painful. You may feel some mild discomfort during treatment, but this should subside quickly. We always work within your comfort level.

This varies depending on your condition and how long you've had it. Acute problems may resolve in 2–4 sessions, while chronic conditions might need more. We'll discuss this honestly during your initial consultation.
Cranial osteopathy uses very gentle techniques to work with the skull, spine, and pelvis. It's particularly effective for headaches, stress, and sleep problems, and is suitable for all ages — including babies and newborns. Maria specialises in this approach.
