What to expect

Your first appointment includes a full health history, physical assessment, and treatment. Your physiotherapist will discuss what they find, what they recommend, and how many sessions they think you will need.
You will usually receive exercises to continue at home between sessions. These are an important part of the treatment and your physiotherapist will take time to make sure you understand them properly.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that allow easy access to the area being treated. Shorts and a t-shirt or sportswear are ideal.
